Resolve your problems.
In this assignment, we were tasked with creating ads for Resolve.
The easy choice was showcasing the immediate benefit of the product: carpet cleaner. Instead, I opted to show how Resolve can be used for other situations. In research, I found that Resolve can also be used for clothes, bedding, and car seats.
Taking feedback from the instructor, who in weeks prior had told me to think “bigger” and “get weird with it”, I created ads that said “Hey, we can’t resolve your problems, but we can clean up after them.”
With that, these three social ads came to life.
What if you encountered a bear (or another wild animal) and soiled yourself? No one would blame you, but those aren't easy stains to lift. Resolve can help.
You're on the way to work, coffee in hand, and you're hit from behind in the middle of traffic. Your day's ruined. Your seats (and your clothes) are covered in coffee. Resolve can't fix your car, but it can fix those stains.
Walked in on your partner in bed with someone else? No doubt, you'll want to wash those sheets. Resolve can't fix your marital issues, but it'll help freshen your bedding.
